British brother and sister Tom and Mary O'Brien formed the folk group the Springfields in the early on '60s, as well as adopting the group name as their concluding proper noun -- Tom O'Brien became Tom Springfield, and Mary O'Brien likewise changed her first proper name, becoming Dusty Springfield.
